Love every language

In Österåker Municipality, Stockholm, Sweden.

… but I can’t learn them all. Short of booting files into my brain I’ll have to pick, prioritize etc. So – I made a list. A 48-dot list of 48 languages and versions of languages I wanted to learn. And chose only ten. To start with. Maybe I’ll manage to learn just these languages. Maybe I’ll struggle on my way there (I think not – every word is like a tasty rare beef from Jensens..). Or maybe… just maybe – I’ll learn to speak all of them and then some. Then I can go back to my original 48-dot list and pick one of those…

Anyway, here’s the list of priorities. Not in any specific order. And some of them I’m already pretty familiar with.

  1. English
  2. Swedish
  3. German
  4. Mongolian
  5. Japanese
  6. Chinese
  7. Korean
  8. Spanish
  9. French
  10. Italian

And considering that all of these languages can be piled up into three language structures which I’ve been using since I was a 4 – I think I can manage this. Languages are a piece of tasty cake.

Money

In Österåker Municipality, Stockholm, Sweden.

… is very nice. Extremely nice. One of my favourite songs growing up went something in the lines of “Money is just a piece of paper” . And yes – money is in its physical form just paper. But it’s magic paper. Paper that pays for globetrotting. Many have asked me how I managed to achieve my money goal and the simple answer is: buy and sell.

Spain trip – paid!

Dinner on a train

This is what happens when you spend the entire day at the hairdressers. You’re forced to buy a.. TOTALLY AWESOME DINNER! 200 grams of pure meat with extra onion extra everything extra fries. Extra nice.

@Hairdressers

In Stockholm, Stockholm, Sweden.

After coloring it, coloring it, coloring it again and made it permanently straight using all kinds of chemicals – my hair said no. No more. And it looked awful.

But lovely Nima fixes everything. She had importered something called a “hairmanicure” from South Korea which she wanted to try on my hair. Fabulous.

Super happy – though it doesn’t show on the pic.

Unfortunately I’ll never achieve the gorgeous hair some of my classmates have :P

Cesc Fabregas still dreams of Barcelona, claims Gerard Pique, but Arsenal skipper could be priced out of switch

Going nowhere: Arsenal rejected Barcelona’s advances for Cesc Fabregas last summer

Gerard Pique insists that Cesc Fabregas still wants to join him at Barcelona – but Camp Nou commentators have described a new move for the Arsenal captain as ‘near impossible’.

The Spanish champions failed in a very public fight to sign the Gunners skipper last summer and have been tipped to try again at the end of the season.

Spain international Pique, who counts himself as a close pal of the 23-year-old, insists Fabregas would jump at the chance.

‘We’ve shared a friendship for many years and I know his hopes and the hope he has of someday wearing the Barcelona shirt,’ Pique told Spanish journalists. ‘I hope one day he will fulfil his dream. I know the satisfaction it brings and I hope he can accomplish it as well.’

However, that day could be a long way off, if noises coming out of Catalonia are to be believed.

Barca have clinched the bargain January signing from PSV Eindhoven of Ibrahim Afellay, the Holland playmaker who would have been out of contract next summer. And the £2.5million incomer appears to be a cheap alternative to Fabregas.

Jose Luis Carazo, a respected columnist with Catalan newspaper Sport, reports that a move for the Emirates Stadium idol is increasingly fraught with difficulty at a club struggling with debts and cashflow problems.

Not cheap: A move for Fabregas could cost Barca around £85m in total

Barca’s bid last summer of less than £30m was considered derisory by Arsenal and the Catalans don’t expect a much softer stance at the end of the season.

It is estimated that prising him from north London would cost a total of about £85m when the fee, salary and commissions are taken into account – which is way beyond what Barca can afford.
