Preview of Jobs!

My lovely boyfriend had tickets to a preview showing of Jobs at Sergel three weeks ago, but I haven’t blogged about it. SO MANY THINGS ARE NOT BLOGGED ABOUT. I’ll work on this for sure. It was lovely and we had unlimited sodas and snacks! Also – voy a intentar a escribir en español más och självklart kanske ge fina texter på svenska snart!!!

Randomness 3000

I think the exam in organizational structures went really well actually! After the test me and Emilia took a little shopping trip in Biblioteksstan where we met her cousin. We stand there talking about random stuff when all of a sudden a guy in a whole body pig outfit asks us for hugs in return for a goodie bag because it was his bachelor party (?). We get chocolate, Bloody Maries, candy and a facial scrub. I don’t think I could’ve ever come up with something that bizarre.

Interview with Leo Razzak

I spent an hour yesterday interviewing Leo Razzak at Fryshuset, social entrepreneur and future leader of the Swedish youth. He was lovely! As usual I preferred when we went off the grid and talked about things that came up organically than the standardized questions. It gives so much more to let a conversation take its natural course than asking the expected. I shared a part of my story and the scary similarities between our lives recently and he thought it was so mind-boggling that he wanted me to work it in the text. This particular story for me though, is so recent and fresh in my mind that it will feel too personal. Maybe when a few years have passed I’ll write about it. But it’s amazing how totally different people on the outside can have so many things in common in their life story. The interview will be published in Stockholm Banco in October, when our magazine has its grand premiere!

Love and art

Today is a wonderful day
Because it is the one day we get to live
It shows up in different ways
But it always gives us the opportunity to give
It dresses up and comes in disguise
To separate the disillusioned from the wise
Today comes in the present as a gift
And it always gives us a brand new lift
The possibility of making more people smile
Seeing that life is wonderfully worthwile
New moments to be bold
New stories to be told
Today brings a new story
And the story goes the way we choose it to go
It can be utterly boring
Or a fantastic leap into the unknown
We can choose to grow and expand
To walk on stranger land
To be more
than we were before
To hold a strangers hand
And suddenly understand
That there is immense love between the two of you
And that you can choose to let it through
So be friends with today
And you’ll be friends with life itself
Because you are the only one who’s you
And you cannot be lived by anybody else.

Sunday dinner at Blue Chili

My love took me out for dinner last night. We had real good thai food for dinner last night at Blue Chili in Stockholm. I had a spicy noodle soup with thai meatballs and veggies. It felt like every bite took me back to those days in Krabi when we kissed in the rain and ate all kinds of exotic things our first days in Thailand. We were the luckiest couple in town because it started raining when we sat down and stopped for our walk home…
