Douglas and Filip strolling.Saturday morning I remembered I forgot my camera at Emilia’s and since she was leaving for France while I was packing for Erikssund – none of us had time to get me the camera. With my trusty iPhone 4 I still managed to capture some of the beauty of the weekend at Filip’s brothers place.
Matjesill, eggs and even more eggs with fishegg on them.
As soon as we got there I got a quick tour of the first floor, the room where Filip and I would be staying. After some champagne, snaps and lunch we went for a walk by the lake where we saw two eagles that were impossible to catch on camera and petted the mares in the stables.

Snow and sunset
Come sunset we played pool on the upperfloor and I won. I feel it important to note that I won.
We ate in the oldest room in the house. The room had previously been King Eriks old dining room after a good hunt or something like that. The details of which royalty had sat there some fivehundred years ago were fuzzy. After a delicious salmon dinner we ended the night with a game filled with trivia about world history.
We’re hanging out at the beach until we have to head back to the hotel and pick up our bags and call for a cab. Aruba was fun, but I think Curacao will be better…
In Oranjestad, Aruba.
We had a long stroll in Oranjestad and the most beautiful part was just by the pier where there were beautiful fish to be seen when looking down the pier and herds of iguana by the rocky cliffsides.
Some more pictures from Oranjestad. Everything looks like Disneyland because the houses are colorful and filled with imaginititve lines. The houses are like model houses that they decided to make real.
Eagle beach was just a bus ride away and it was a more breathtaking and secluded beach than the one near our place at Palm Beach. It was incredibly windy so we would be standing on the ocean bottom one second and gulp five litres of water the other.
Bon nochi! We (me, Agnes, Andris) had a very nice time at the beach tonight. We saw conga lines and ate delicious seafood accompanied by beautiful live music. The performances where all arubanised versions of pop songs… trés interesànt.
Bon dia! We woke up at 7 am so after a quick breakfast we headed towards the beach for an early swim and tan. The weather is sometimes trecherous with its clouds that fool you into thinking you won’t get sunburnt…
Bon nochi! I’m feeling a little better than I’ve been all other days this week. Grandma and I are watching Inception and I’m still playing memory games whenever I’m not sleeping or resting. I’m also hoping my health will be better before and during our next trip.
I feel so close to you right now, it’s a force field… and there’s no stopping us right now.
I had this beyond belief good dream where I was studying at my new school and everyone was outgoing and happy to be there, studying with me! It was the weirdest dream because most of my dreams about school are filled with horror, but this was beyond awesome and fun. We’re thinking about going away soon, which makes me EXCITED AS A MOTHERTUCKER! So if you’re down, come with me
